Saffron rice with dried pomegranate was a beautiful touch. Tea was served the traditional Afghan way—from a kettle into clear glass cups. “ The food in this Afghanistan restaurant is very tasty, juicy and down right scrumptious! You will take your first bite and the flavours just explode after the first bite. Truly worth visiting again, you would never know to find it unless you were living in the university area however I highly recommend families to come out for a bite. The staff are friendly meal preparation time takes a bit of time but very well worth the wait. Anything that is prepared quickly these days is not worth the visit. The restaurant is clean, the ambiance is inviting and love the decor very nice touch. It’s a small quaint restaurant however they can sit couples, families and groups. The table seating was well planned out. I took plenty of pictures of the menu the food is very reasonable and the portion sizes is excellent you feel like your money is spent well. By the way they advertise daily specials if you are on a tight budget! ”
